The Playground

We live right next to a small park. It's called the Richards-Hart Estate. There is a small park, and an old restored house that is used for weddings and special events. They have a small playground that I take Penny to daily. This is Penny's playground.

She just recently started going down the slide on her own. She loves to climb up the slide as well (what kid doesnt?) Another amusing thing to note is that the slide is made of thick plastic, and causes an alarming amount of static electricity when you slide down it. Maizy shocked us so hard the other day, Penny's hair shot straight up like she was Albert Einstein or something.

Penny will be graduating from her stroller pretty quick. Most days when we take our walk, once I let her out of it, it is virtually impossible to get her back in. She doesn't mind walking the whole way home at all.  It seriously cramps my style as far as schedule goes, but you know what they say: You gotta stop and smell the roses, right?
